Tapstone Energy is an oil and natural gas exploration company founded by former SandRidge Energy CEO, Tom Ward. Their headquarters are located in the Mideke Building in Bricktown. The building was first built in 1919 and is on the National Register for Historic Places. The top floors of the building were previously empty since Mideke closed their operations in Bricktown over 30 years ago.
